Punch lists

Punch lists and final touch-up

The final walk is where a new home gets signed off. We make the paint part of it short.

A crew lead takes your list, fixes each item and photographs it when it is done. Touch-up paint is matched to the lot's approved colors, so the patch does not show.

  • A photo of every item when it is done

  • Sorted by lot and trade before anyone is sent

  • A walk with your super to sign off

Day by day

From your list to your sign-off

  1. 01
    Day 0

    Step 1: Send the list

Text photos, send a spreadsheet or forward the app's export. Whatever your super already keeps.

  2. 02
    Day 1

    Step 2: We sort it

The list is split by lot and trade, and a crew lead takes it.

  3. 03
    Day 2

Step 3: We fix and photograph

Each item is touched up, re-caulked or re-coated, and photographed when it is done.

  4. 04
    Day 3

Step 4: We walk it with you

Your super signs off item by item, and anything missed goes back on the list.

Questions

Punch-list questions

How does the punch-list visit work?

Send the list by text with photos, as a spreadsheet or as an app export. We sort it by lot and trade, send a crew, photograph each item when it is done and walk it again with your super.

What does a bid include, and what doesn't it?

It includes the surfaces, coats, products and colors we list, masking, cleanup and the punch-list visit it names. It leaves out repairs to other trades' work and colors added after the schedule is set. We price those in writing before we do them.

Who do I call from the lot?

Each crew lead has a phone and talks to your super directly. Casandra handles schedules, bids and paperwork at (407) 555-0102.

How much notice do you need for a phase?

Send the phase, the lot count and the dates you are aiming for. We answer with a start window in writing, and the schedule you accept goes into the subcontract.
